At last the rivers are coming into form! Finally had an excuse to break the chub gear out....had a 5lb7oz - not a monster but very welcome! I also know of a 6lb brace of chub that came out last week..... Can MKAA throw up an eight this year.....? Good luck guys!

Polaris Sidewinder

I've been thinking about buying a Polaris Sidewinder bite indicator to replace the quivertip. I wondered if anyone has used one and if you have any tips or advice on how to get the best out of them? I will be using them mainly for river work after dark for Chub, perch and roach but will also use them on stillwaters for tench, bream and carp if they are suitable. Any views are much appreciated.

This bivvy is in great condition. I have only used this no more than 5 times and the previous owner had barely used it aswell. There is a small rip (about the size of a 20p) at one of the rear pegging points but I have used it in the rain and it hasn't let any water in. Its a 2 man bivvy and has enough room for atleast 2 bedchairs. The bivvy has two layers. the first layer isn't waterproof and has mosquito netting at the roof of the bivvy and has two doors at the front, one is a clear PVC plastic and the other is mosquito netting so this layer is great for the summer. The second layer is waterproof and has a clear PVC door which zips open and close and has two mosquito netting windows either side which can be zipped closed or can be tied back so they are open. This layer also has a porch area with a pole which holds it rigid. I have used this in both wet and windy conditions and it doesn't let any water through and holds completely rigid in windy conditons.
I am selling this as it is too big for me and am going to buy a 1 man bivvy.
