Reply with quote | #45 | I had not seen this thread before writing my first post, sorry. So well I'm a French guy, I've been fishing 15 years predators, walking and walking with my lures to look for trouts, perchs, zanders, pikes, chubs.... A 100% suporter of No-Kill predator fishing.
I settled in the UK (Oxford) only 2.5 months ago, and I've been fishing your nice green country for 2 months. Before, I lived in France, 4 years in Belgium and 4 years in Spain.
I've been catching mainly pikes, perchs and chubs. I've already fished lots of the local places - unfortunately I have not found a job yet, I had plenty of time!!... - including Thames, Oxford Canal, Cherwell, and all the little secret streams inside the city.
Your English pikes and chubs are bombs, comparing the French and Spanish ones!
Let's see if I can hook something in the MKAA waters __________________ http://www.petit-pecheur.net

Good luck to you. I think you will enjoy the MKAA waters. There's plenty of good fish for you to catch anywhere you go. |

Reply with quote | #49 | Hi All,
Mark here from Oakley, joined a few weeks ago but not had chance to get on any lakes yet, primarily interested in anything that can put a bend in the rod: carp, tench, bream etc...
Anyway, any good pointers for a 24 hour session on one of the lakes would be most welcome.
Tight lines
Mark.
